وسام العدل صنع بطلب من مجلس القضاء الأعلى على شكل نيشان المعارف مع استبدال عبارة : "من فتح مدرسة أقفل سجنا" بعبارة "ليس لسلطان العدل زوال". لم يتم التأكد من تاريخ بدء استخدامه ولكننا نرجح انه بين عامي 1990/1997.
الوسام مؤلف من ميدالية مسكوكة ومستديرة الشكل قطرها 35 ملم وسماكتها 3 ملم
ومشبوكة معدنية نقش عليها: "مجلس القضاء الأعلى" يصل بينهما حلقة معدنية
