In the center a Phoenician ship - a trireme with 10 rowers and a leader above a wavy thick line;
Top inscription: the denomination in Arabic "غرشـان";
Bottom inscription: the denomination in French "2 PIASTRES";
Year of issue in both numerals Arabic and western is on the bottom.
