Obverse
In upper center a stylized shape of a cedar of Lebanon in front of a hill profile above the state name in Arabic "الجمهورية اللبنانية" within a rectangular box; the year of issue in Arabic numerals to the right and in western numerals to the left.
Bottom inscription: the state name in French “REPUBLIQUE LIBANAISE" is under the rectangular box in two lines.
Reverse
In the center two crossed cornucopias filled with fruits;
Top inscription: the denomination in Arabic "٢٥ خمسة وعشرون غرشا";
Bottom inscription: the denomination in French "25 PIASTRES".
