The Turathium Ecosystem: A Network of Interconnected Heritage
Turathium operates as a sophisticated digital ecosystem, founded upon the robust and extensible architecture of Omeka S. This design enables the creation of a comprehensive network of interconnected sites, each specializing in distinct facets of material heritage. Within this innovative framework, all data is meticulously interlinked and continuously synchronized, fostering a singular, expansive, and highly contextualized digital repository for cultural artifacts.
At the core of this knowledge network is Turathopedia™, our foundational hub. This central platform systematically documents all Turathium properties, classes, and terms, including the precise definitions and hierarchical structure of the Turathium Rarity Scale (TRS).
Complementing this central repository are our specialized thematic sites, which exemplify the practical application of Turathium's principles:
-
LIRAT.ME
Lirat.me™ is your comprehensive guide to identifying, cataloging, and studying the coins of modern-day Lebanon. More than an archive, it is also a preservation effort, safeguarding Lebanon’s numismatic heritage through the Lirat Reference Collection. -
Ennobilia™
Ennobilia is the specialized Turathium repository dedicated to capturing, documenting, and archiving distinguished personal and civic accolades, high honors, and historical tribute material.
This integrated ecosystem ensures that every piece of material heritage is situated within a broader, verifiable context, enhancing discoverability and scholarly utility across diverse collections.
